Mate has 1990 Polo and his pierberg carb has gone tits up. Anyone got one/know of one that can be bought for sensible money?

Ebay is probably your best bet... Or get a Weber to suit. Are you sure the manifold/carb gasket isn't knackered? They were always a weak spot on these  |

Seconded on the Weber if you can find one. What size engine is it? Might be worth trying some of the VW specific boards.

Are you sure the manifold/carb gasket isn't knackered? They were always a weak spot on these +1 What size engine is it, might have one in the shed. Bought a.box of nos weber carbs a while back... sent from my HTC using proboards android app |

I'll have a look, but I think the ones I have are for 1.6
I've got a zenith from a 1.5 Rocco if he wants to give it a bit more poke ;D
