yeah im in full time work at the moment, but the pay is awful and my boss is erm, well, ill leave that as it is.
im going to start out quietly with just simple stuff and diagnostics too as i dont want my boss to know im starting out and taking my tools home all the time will be obvious. there is only so many times my mums car can break down lol!
trying to work out the cheapest option for getting some semi-basic pc based diagnostic kit.

Your current Employer may have clause(s) in your current contract of Employment which prevents you form doing anything that could cause a potential conflict of interest for your Employer. If your current contact does be very very careful as you could leave yourself open to disciplinary proceedings.

Starting work proves that you accept the terms and conditions offered by your employer. I didn't mean to wind you up it's the ex Shop Stupid in me.

Time to cook a roast now Ok good luck with your new venture as I said earlier advice always free and I've got to go and peel the spuds for our Sunday roast then pop over to the youngest daughters (when she gets home) and fit a boot bulb. Hope she gets home before I have my Sunday dinner as I might not feel like moving after zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Hi and welcome
What part of the country are you in?
Gendan do some pretty good diagnostic stuff, especially when starting out. Does depend on what sort o0f age stuff you are likely to be working on.
Ive found the newer the car, the better (dearer) the kit you need.
