Am I the only one that thinks those aftermarket daytime running lights look a bit daft, especially when glued to the front of a 15 year old mondeo etc? Seen all sorts of weird patterns of them too. While I,m on about lights what are those funny ones that come on when they go round corners looking like they have got a fog light bulb out, useful or gimmick?

They are called active front fog lights (which turn with the steering wheel) and usually only come on at speeds up to 25 mph. A few Manufacturers seem to be fitting them now.

a driver from one of your southeast depots decided he wanted DRLs on his truck. fitted some he bought cheap from the market using scotchlok connectors, and when they stopped working, just kept trying other wires. apparently it cost a fair bit to have the wiing loom repaired. if you go into the setup menu on the dash on these trucks, there's an option to switch on the front fogs or dip beams as DRLs
