Got a news bulletin this morning warning of the new increase and projected prizes and i sent this to them
With regards to your recent news bulletin update about the lotto price increase,i for one will cease playing the games if this is to go ahead,in today's economical climate the lotto only presents value at it's current rate,in comparison i accepted the increase in euromillions as a further raffle still gives me a chance to win £million,i don't play for the smaller prizes i play for the chance/dream to win big money,it's been a long time since the lotto offered big jackpots compared to euromillions on a weekly basis, and the new format of 50 chances to win £20,000 doesn't appeal to me at all,as i said before i 'm playing for big money £20,000 is not enticing enough to warrant a £1 increase and i will say that the jackpots will probably not even double as people will play less lines or stop playing altogether,i would instead restructure the current game and offer better prizes and you will find more people will gamble a £1 quicker than £2,regards

Stopped doing the Lotto a few months back when this was first mooted. I also found out that Camelot belongs to a Canadian Teachers Pension Fund

Put the quid you would have spent in a pot each week Much better idea. 14.7 Million to one chance of winning...
