What's the best train journey or route (non car) from Euston Station to Upton Park (West Ham FC) a lot has changed from when i last used the underground but circle line to tower hill, then over footbridge to district line eastbound, train must say dagenham east, barking or upminster. during peak times the metropolitan line goes from around euston, kings cross to barking, this will be more conveniant. its just a short walk from upton park station to west ham football ground. when are you due?been to upton park before?

I know a handful of folk who use the railway daily or regularly and I'm constantly shocked by ticket prices. Most recent journey was to Inverness or somewhere nearby. Cost £420 return, first class was another £30! Journey took hours with a number of changes. Was a completely intolerable experience never mind the price. Theres various early booking offers but thats just code for for ripping off normal customers.
Robbing b'stards. Should be renationalised. Public services should be public services, not private profit. Telecoms, water, gas, electric, local services, health, housing, education, transport, its all been handed to private profiteers either directly or by PFI.
And what have ordinary working people had since the rise of the new right ? 30 anti-union laws, deregulated labour market, 3rd party employment, maximum wage act, legalised pension theft and destruction..........and perhaps what might be the biggest fraud ever with the new compulsory 'pension' legislation.......hope I live long enough to see the hand wringing and knee jerking.
That was a party political broadcast by the ITS BARELY EVEN STARTED party, don't worry you'll get your turn.

Not 100% sure I'm going yet not got a ticket. Train price atm £79.90 return to Euston includes tube to Fenchurch then local train to Upton Park. Might work out a lot cheaper on the coach or car share. Last time I went to Upton Park (many moons ago) Billy Bonds had just taken over the captaincy from Bobby Moore who had just retired. 1974-75 somewhere around there.

Just check another price etc and this tells me from Euston Underground Station take the Victoria Line (Southbound, Platform 5) to Green Park Station. Change and take the Jubilee Line (Southbound, Platform 6) to West Ham Station. Confused yes I am.
