MOT testing update on six month extension.

Mandatory MOT testing will be reintroduced from 1st August 2020.

Vehicle owners with an MOT due date before the 1st of August will still receive a 6 month exemption.

We are getting a good few more tests in again, things are becoming a little more normal.

I had to bring a couple of people back down to earth again this last 24hours or so.... They thought that the extensions had been removed altogether, and I suppose if you are not paying attention to the government web-site, you could easily misinterpret it!

This has been quite important to me, because the last thing I need is a load of panic'd customers of mine suddenly throwing their cars at me to get an MoT on the 1st August "or bust".
