Hope your all well. I’m David, been a fitter/mechanic 15 years (where does it go?), currently work on rolling stock, so trying to get my head round electrics now, as I tried to ignore for it for so long. Worked mainly heavy plant, so I’m very inexperienced on cars (though I have played with Minis, Austin and Rover types), ball joints, pads and discs, and once stretched myself to a head gasket on my wife’s Peugeot. Love tools, I own Facom, Knipex, Wera, Norbar, Britool Expert, ISS, Deltec amongst a few others. Also looking for advice on other tool brands. Live in Essex, where the sun always shines, but originally from Yorkshire on the coast. Anyways, enough about me, be good to get involved with this forum, and learn about yourselves on the the way.

Welcome, it's a friendly place, well moderated. We don't like spam, or timewasters, but other than that we all get on.

I can’t stand spam, either of them. Not a big fan of wasting time, if I don’t know then I won’t comment, assumptions and thoughts never really work in mechanics/engineering. Just here to learn a few things and maybe ask a few questions, and try and impart some knowledge/experience.
