Hey everyone, i have been having an issue with my car for a while and i am stumped and spending a lot of money for nothing.
Basically my car feels like it is leaning/pulling in one direction mainly left and after driving about for a while it will either start to feel fine or shift to leaning to the right.
Now i'm not sure if it is actually leaning or it is the steering out or something giving the impression of it being off.
It all started when i was doing about 60mph on a backroad and my left side went through a massive puddle... there was no pothole but it did jerk a little.
I have had the suspension checked and everything is fine.
i have checked the psi in my tires everynight and they are all sitting at 37 psi.
the front 2 tires are just new on a week before the puddle incident.
i thought it might be my alignment but 2 hunter hawkeye checks have shown everything is in the green.... the caster was out but not adjustable on one check but was in the green the second check strangely, but the guy checking told me that happens with the plates on the hunter machine shifting about or something.
if i hold my wheel central the car drives straight but it feels like it wants to pull left slightly.
if i let go of the wheel the car goes left hard even on flat roads like the motorway etc.... and the steering wheel rolls all the way to the left.
Something feels really off on the front end but i have no idea what it could be...
if the car goes straight with the wheel centered it aint alignment ?
if the suspension is fine then it can't be a sagging spring or shocks esp if it's shifting side to side.
tires have no uneven wear and all set at right psi.
what else could be the cause ? with no mechanical knowlege it feels like something connecting the steering to the wheels is shifting about... but have no idea what.
thanks for any advice... car is a chevrolet cruze 2011.
