Brakes free , fuel leak, too much weight carrying, tyre pressures, roof rack ? I would expect emission warnings if you had an engine efficiency fault. Tyre pressure is set to the recommended for fuel efficiency, no roof rack, only weight is tool bag (spark) which shouldnt be too extreme, no passangers (or rarley). Brakes may be another thing to check though, car seems to pull allright though. MOT next month so would need to get any emmision problem sorted.

Have read about disconnecting the negative battery terminal to reset the ecu, and letting the engine re-learn everything again.
Maybe worth a shot?

Well its a shame you didn't post the code...but never mind.. I'd say you have a problem...I had an early ( on a T plate) Corsa with the three pot engine and found it very economical and more lively than a later model (51 plate) my daughter had..... Theres a link at the top of the first post mate, or is it not working for you? Let me know I could only make out 5513, 554 or 5514, not sure which. I thought i had missed some in the video, went out and done it again and its exactly the same. Most instrument cluster dtc reads are useless and mean nothing to most of us I wouldn't take much notice of them

As already suggested, check engine running temperature..
Could be a failing thermostat and/or a CTS

I would not expect the management system to maintain lambda 1 if fuelling is so poor.

I would not expect the management system to maintain lambda 1 if fuelling is so poor. Like I said, if the fuelling is rich, you'd smell it, see it.... He needs to go back to basics and work from there... Diagnostics are great time savers, but if you ignore the symptoms, what's the use?
