A lot of multi v belts have shallow v sections to stop chirp on the pulleys , if they are chirping the pulleys are very bad or misaligned, bad belts wil make a sort of creaking noise , people just call it all squeaking

Bit of an update, the old belt wasn't making good contact with the pulleys, so fitted a Gatorback as mentioned in the last post and it's fine now. Attachment Deleted
