Thanks for the replies, will check actuator rod tomorrow. Just re-read with engine off and get the same readings as above, baro pressure 101 which I believe is about right for ner enough sea level, boost pressure still showing 137, shouldn't it show same as other one with enginer off? I'm thinking faulty MAP sensor. 101kpa equates to 1 Bar or 14.5 PSI which is atmospheric pressure.

Duff sensor? Its showing about 5psi of boost, the codes you have are pretty acurate p0106, tap it with the scanner connected .. the baro in the maf ?

Given it a good going over today, waste gate mechanism moves freely, turbo has no play and no sign of oil in piping, in fact looks far too new to have done 85k like rest of car. Removed MAP sensor - left plugged in - still shows 1.37 on live data, applied a bit of vacuum via a piece of pipe and it drops, bit of pressure and it rises so presume ciruit is OK and sensor def duff. So are the ones on ebay any good or should I go for genuine - had issues with an ebay crank sensor before so if in doubt may as well get proper one, it has Bosch on it at moment
