So that's when I changed them, nice reminder They are getting a bit streaky now so time for new! Only thing I don't like about some of the cheaper blades is they rust. Bought a cheap rear wiper, hardly used but goes rusty.

I bought some Morrison's specials for the van about July this year and they've been great, £5.50 for a wiper blade I didn't think would last but I needed it at the time as the blades were smearing and the rain was pouring. Even in the dark there's none of that grease smear from on coming car lights. I suspect they'll last about a year but for £5.50 per blade you can't go wrong For the Audi I bought some of those 5 blade wipers, they were expensive at £18.99 each but I have to say they're really good. One little trick I've found works a treat is using lemon and lime spring water in the washer bottle and no screen wash. The lemon and lime cuts through the grease a real treat and doesn't leave a residue on the screen or on the blade itself. I found this one out when I was out in the wife's car, the screen was smearing, (mainly due to road spray), and I ran out of water. A quick stop at Asda, (the shop not the petrol station), and all they had in was the spring water, no ordinary bottled water so I gave it a go. The screen stopped smearing straight away now now it's all I use in the Audi, the Megane and the van. I even clean my helmet visor with it.
