Sorry peter not got round to posting any test procedures as yet. No rush other things to keep me occupied atm. She needs a new battery old ones bo**oxed. Has the old type terminals as in the link. Which IMO is dear. Tried three places near me only do the round terminals. Found a couple of places online who deliver. Manchester and North Wales so I'll be on the phone first thing in the morning. Might do an e-Bay search see what it throws up.

Retail Prices are something to be desired. You can ask if your passing if you don't mind as long as it's not off your route tomorrow. I've just found the same battery as in the previous link from the same place on e-Bay delivered 20 dabs cheaper.

As you can see from the photo it has quite a few wires on the positive side bolted onto a plate which fits neatly in to the nut/bolt.

Plenty of room on the battery tray for a larger and maybe cheaper battery?

Plenty of room on the battery tray for a larger and maybe cheaper battery? A larger battery won't give you longer life. Your still only get 12.6 volts ish. I tend to pay more attention to the CCA capabilities on battery's.

If you're searching for 093 then that's the physical size of the battery, the battery tray is much bigger than that 093 currently fitted so a physically larger battery for the diesel version may well have a higher CCA for less dollars, with me know?

The battery on atm is an 097 with CCA of 400.The one I'm looking at replacing it with is an 097 with CCA of 525.
