Hi all,
Seems to be a global logging in issue across all proboards forums since the 22nd of December.
Hope they resolve it soon!

It took me a few goes this afternoon to log in. Any idea what the problem is? To much traffic.

I find that ProBoards is one of the places I have most issues with - even before 22nd December. They generally seem to crash on login more than most sites. I usually just give-up and try again the next day! This is particularly an issue when the USA starts to come home in the evenings, about 11:30pm our time.
I used to think that it was just my remote location, until you consider I have a fibre-to-the-premises connection with (nominally) a gigabit commercial service behind it, so that excuse no longer applies.

Out of the dark ages for you then mate. How does the "speed feel"... I'm not getting the full benefit of it on my "play" PC's at the moment, as they are wired over a standard Cat_5 cabling into the main switch-box, but also are having to share that 100Mbps between a few consumers most of the time (long story......). However, the business servers are very, very happy. We went from a 150Mbps service to approx 900Mbps around Summertime last year - prior to that we have been fairly spoiled now for 2years.
Both shop and home/back-office are in constant communication with each other's servers, and we just use the local server as-appropriate to access files at each site, so most of the time we only see the local networking speeds anyway. I'm pretty happy with it all at the moment, but I need to do some upgrading to some of the cabling and a couple of the switch-boxes to realise a bit more potential.
