Those examples you have given are what I consider inspection lamps. I got a drawer full of them lol. I want a torch. A pocket sized thing In that case, look at the Coast A9R. Really nice bit of kit.

Thanks voice, the coast a9r is on the snap on van for £30 so I’m gonna get it Friday. I ended up with an led lenser p7.2 today for 40 qwid. I plan to use them both and give the one I don’t want to my lad in the workshop.

My problem with the Coast is that I'll forget that it's in my pocket so it ends up at home!

I’ve got 2 head torches
A smaller version nice and lightweight
And a great big Bobby dazzler heavy battery Pack etc . Which is great but a bit too bright and heavy after a while

I quite like head torches as they are always pointed at what you are looking at, having a bright inspection light pointing in the wrong direction is a pet hate of mine especially if it happens to be shining back at you.
