Hi noberator What a small world, the car you so at the Anglia Car Auctions and sold for £5940 is the same car I have just bought for £2500 did I get a bargain. although it is mot exempt still as 6 month left on a mot, 5 new tyres complete new exhaust new front calipers & pads new brake flex hose's all round & copper brake pipes new shockers all round new battery some one certainly spent some money on this car. (any one want it £3000 ) IMO you have definitely got yourself a bargain. It only sold at the Anglia Car Auction last year (20th - 21st June, 2020). Here's a link to all the Wolseley 1500 sold in the UK Auction houses over the last 5-6 years. Just to add the Glenmarch website lists all the sold Auction houses in the UK,Europe and the USA. You can check car specific,Auction House,Results etc.

Bonus fleet update news
The Focus has passed its MOT with a clean bill of health. The only issue I thought would raise an advisory were two low tread front tyres (replaced after the tracking was sorted in January) and where I'd applied an absolutely terrible repair to the exhaust with a welder. The rear/final mounting hanger for the tailpipe had broken off the pipe, I welded it back on badly with a MIG and a wire brush/file (no grinder at the time) and then painted with the only VHT paint I had to hand (Wood burning stove paint!).
Still, it passed with zero advisories so I'm happy!
