got 3 quotes £144 £156 and £192 ! i recon i could get nice wheels for less Wheel refurb? Blast and coat would be ?20 per rim Chap near us charges £60 a rim - to dip/blast and powdercoat. I know this as I have jsut had four done for a customer. Same chap will diamond cut - spin/weld and straighten wheels for more money. ---------------------------- For god sake chean the spigot hole up on the newly powder coated wheels - had a VW Golf in last week - newly powder coated wheels - stuck on so tight - I had to get a sledge hammer and some wood to get them off. These were proper stuck tight - crowded up with wheel bolts.

After deciding the original Stag alloys suit the car better than the Minilites I put on it after the restoration, I refurbed them myself. Probably half an hour per wheel with a wire brush, then an hour sanding using progressively finer grades. Then primer filler, more rubbing down then top coat and lacquer. Added pain caused by 2 colours and some complicated masking! But pretty pleased with the result and cost me about £50 in paint, be less for a single colour. nice looking wheels there im going to have a go myself these wheels are nothing to special so should be fairly straight forward will still keep an eye out for anything fancyer

I would not wanna be rubbing them down inside and out for that kind of money.
