hi there i have the same problem with my bmw e46 coupe but instead i need the drivers side metal arm bracket type. when i had this car the drivers door was changed and i was wondering if it was off a convertible, coz the one he sent me had the cable. Anyone got any ideas?

Mine's a 2002 2.2 m sport coupe. Don't know what to do now, might have to go to bmw to ask maybe

When i called Chandlers BMW when the fault first came about they wanted £700 + VAT, i said errrr no lol It's odd how most manufactures still insist on top dollar prices,on once high end motors Which are now 10 years old plus They clearly can't sell many and old obsolete stock must take up valuable warehouse shelving Why not punt stuff like this on for just a few coin to get rid

I remember before the days of Internet auction sites, are parts department would simply skip old obsolete stock.

Well fitted a secondhand one yesterday, there was a subtle difference...The 2 link arms for the outer door handle cable were facing the other way over, but it all fitted up ok and works.
Just got to fit two rear shocks now, failed the mot yesterday
