R134a Vs R404

How much oil and dye do you guys add to system thats low on gas not empty. I'm presuming it'll still have oil in the system, So you would'nt need the full amount on autodata.

Oil you should put back what you take out

There are also recommended amounts for component replacements

I generally do 5-10cc. Of trace dye I’m adding it

I didn't reply straight away about the sniffer liam99 because the thread has moved on and others have replied, advising of not so good results. I can't comment further as I'd need to see the sniffer in operation to see how the sniffer is being used to establish why members think they are no good!

i'm with remington on my testing methods, been doing it it 'since '03 was good money then, crap now. not bothered if we don't do any really (got 2 x 134a machines & 1 x 1234yf machine)

i like a/c in my car, keeps the grandkids behaving!

Thanks guys for all the advice, Never planned on getting involved with aircon but got use of a machine so thought why not.
