Ok its his own car!!! Still need to diagnose it.I personally would not bother sealing boot hinges without checking if they are leaking first is all i was trying to say.Sorry if I came across wrong. Your right and you should always find out the entry point but........ You can't see the water ingress via the hinge/roof joint as it runs inbetween the double skins We used to do loads of these So I would on this occasion I would be starting here |

I've purchased the tiger seal so thats a starting point, hop to have a look at weekend, might even fix the slow puncture lol
