Just look at the wires on that thing! To get enough power to generate meaningful boost traditional superchargers need a direct belt drive from the engine, and traditional turbochargers need a very fast turning turbine. A pissy little fan isn't going to produce anything like meaningful boost pressure. That's not to say electric supercharges don't exist, but rather they're a bit more clever than a PC case fan in a tube.. articles.sae.org/11244/Also, think of it this way: Is a turbo install was that cheap and simple, why don't manufacturers fit them from new?

What a waste of money! Somebody been watching the 'fast and furious' movies? Kit looks like some sort of toy add on.....might as well nick my sisters hairdrier..,,,stick that on my passat and get 25% more power....I think not... Hair dryer blows hot air Precisely what we don't want And@ autech as previously stated It's to flimsy and weak to affect power and as for a k&n filter In combination with a remap It's a good way to get some extra go out of a turbo ride be it diesel or petrol

I have not studied the design of the fan in any detail based on the utube vid, but initially the fan does not even appear to be designed to cause anything other than a draft in a tunnel

Agreed!
That so called fan is nothing more than a series of flower petals....Fabreeze anyone?
It is of completely the wrong design to be able to create any increase in boosted air flow.....Look at the cold side of a turbo....

No it doesnt...more of a proper job..... I guess at low revs when exhaust gas speed is lo, leccy kicks in, then once spooled up, the motor acts as a dyno, charging the battery....isnt technology great?
