Did it ever start? ;D ;D not since Hitler bombed it well actually the luftwaffa bombed walsall,they where aiming for the factory where my dad and my grandad worked just after the war (early to middle 1950's),elkington's which where famous for it's silverware,but at the time did amunition,they latter did brass and copperware,dad worked on the brass side,he actually worked there from 1953 to 1988,baring 1959-64 when he was in the airforce and then 3 yrs after untill he got his job back in early 1967,grandad on the copper,they missed and hit the junction 200 yrds from this house,about 3/4 of a mile off target,they just missed the church where my mom n dad got married in november 1964 |
