WTF Was waiting for it to fall off At no point did it ever look safe, I expected the clio to jolt forward when he drove up the ramps. You get the impression its the same every day

That yokel is an accident waiting to happen IMO. Obviously never heard or not interested in towing limits. I'm surprised he hasn't been pulled by now.

The nose weights on that Clio must be twice what's permitted. This is another good reason why small Renaults are a bad idea when it comes to heavy towing....... youtu.be/tvkYCapb31w

The other day I was following a Jag S-type on a trailer and a Discovery 1 or 2 towing it. It wasn't speeding and seemed stable enough.
Only problem was said disco had a lift kit on it, with what I'm guessing were rather soft springs. The back end was stupidly low, while the front end was so high off the ground I'm pretty sure it would have been possible to drop the front axle out without a jack...
