Hello Everyone.
I have a little project for my car but first I need a little information just to check if i'm correct or not. I'm searching for the wire that will start the car (3rd position crank) on the ignition harness. I believe it's the (Yellow) one but I'm not sure... Couple years ago I had a Ford Puma (european car) And I used to make a start button (without relay) I just tapped the wire of my starter on it from my ignition harness. I just don't remember how I did it correctly. I believe to do the same thing I just have to use my Yellow wire with the ground? Or Yellow wire with the White wire? I'm kind of confused right now...
Can somebody help me please?
Thanks for your time!

So you're asking for wire colours? It'd be a mahoosive help if we knew what car you're talking about!

Cant you id the wire from the back of the ignition switch? From my experience of older brit cars, Red was the main feed to the sw, Yellow went to the radio iirc, but you should be able to id which wire goes to the starter solenoid... A Haynes manual wiring diagram would help, as would the car details.....
