Air lines, torches, measuring equipment etc is payed for by the company, torque wrenches too But only the cheapo ones, so most have there own. General workshop stuff jacks, press welder, angle grinder etc... Also supplied. I take care of the automatic tool supply (from ford) mandatory stuff gets sent automatically new tools Come out with new models etc.. Just had a jacking support beam delivered over £440 And I know it will be used maybe once ? We've just been given tablets to complete vehicle health checks on. Which are an improvement Over the old ones we had Stop whinging especially when they are trying to improve things for you and your work colleagues. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) Any way there's a method in their madness. ![:-S](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wavey.png) It's tax deductable for the Company. ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) Do they ever consult the techs on what they would like? ![:-/](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/undecided.png)

Our company is less than useless. Work in one of the offices, need a new desk, chair, computer, no problem. Need tooling or equipment for one of the workshops, no f*****g chance, "what do you need that for?"
Don't currently own any 3/4 stuff though i'm starting to feel the need. Bahco kit looks ok for the money.
