Got a further chance to look at this today. I removed the front o/s sensor, check it physically, no damage…the abs ring look rather rusty… Put it all back together.. VCDS is reporting that the speed of the wheel is ok, as same as the other three…however the air gap is reading 65335mm! But so is the front near side?…yet the 2 rears are reading around 7mm each… So do we have 2 duff front wheel bearings? Is the rust sufficient to throw a gap error? I don’t want to buy 2 new brg assemblies if this doesn’t solve it.. Any thoughts chaps? I'd try cleaning the abs (reluctor) rings up. But it sounds to me like you're going to need a new one. Sometimes you can buy the rings, or it's a new cv joint or complete driveshaft.

Have you looked on rosstechs site to see hints and tips for the codes?

ok, to update this thread:
We (son and I) bought a new wheel bearing hub assembly and a new sensor.
Wheel hub assy. fitted and on removing the old one it was obvious the damage the tone ring was split..Ill post a photo later.
All put back together, didnt bother with the new sensor, but everything seems ok, no more tpms warnings after taking it for a spin.--
Another good job done...
