Are those cable ties holding the bottom of the chassis rail on? ‘Cos it doesn’t look like the welding is....

Hence they were not hanging around, just the sound of the gas-torch roaring-away and the muttered curses, "Oh sh*t, oh sh*t, oh sh*t"

Hence they were not hanging around, just the sound of the gas-torch roaring-away and the muttered curses, "Oh sh*t, oh sh*t, oh sh*t" yep hence the worlds shitest jigsaw in the last pic worst part of this for me is you can get a "new" chassis for very little off a scraped car from the mid 80s on they are galvanised ive infact now bought one for an eye watering 30 quid so fook knows why he bodged the hell out of it like this these pics are of the better bits to ! i need to find another enthusiast to pass this on to my plan was to get this one on the road but leave it rough until the vans done but no way would i trust this chassis

well today i managed to get the locks working and ive gone through all the parts ive got from the pair got most of the bits i need for the red one except one rear light an the heather matrix boath of witch seam buggered on this one my wifes not keen on me keeping this one and the van but shes up for me getting a mk2 to make the set so when the bonnet chassis and window get here im going to fit the window and bonnet then pass it on

I’m frightened to share the road with cars “repaired” to that standard! im unsure why there is so much silicone on it to be honest the reason its been blocked off is because this model didnt have a breather why the bloke didnt just get a new filler neck i just dont know
