The houses are mirror images of each other so it just couldn't work without serious work.

Rent it out, Depending how this goes maybe buy another house in a couple of years and rent our current property out too. Just knock through for an adjacent inside door between the two. Hmm..."knock three times..." Tony Orlando and Dawn Or "knock, knock, who's there..." Mary Hopkin.....

I imagine the chimney breasts being back to back are throwing a spanner in the works? I went to auction last month to buy lot 2 www.buttersjohnbee.com/images/auction/catalogues/Auction-catalogue-May-2018-web.pdfNext door is for sale for £99K and has been for a while, guide was 23K and it made £77K...... 2 inches of water under the wooden front floor, brambles 8 feet high the whole length of the garden - its exactly how it was built 150 years ago. Roof leaks, damp everywhere, rotten frames, doors broken etc, etc Old chap living in absolute squalor (no central heating, insulation etc), any guesses how much he left in his will (it was in the legal pack)? Half a million?

In that floorpan I posted of a similar house that is the layout of the one we just bought, so with ours being the mirror image to the left but ours has had the chimney breasts removed on the ground floor, front room was done when we bought then we removed the dining room one to get a bi american fridge freezer in the house.

The central heating system fitting has commenced today and I have removed the sink from the bathroom and started removing the bath. There are some lead pipework that we are getting rid off.
Spoken to my mate who has always done tiling for us and he reckons to take it back to brick. So if the heating engineers can remove the bath I can get in on Sat eve and Sunday with a SDS drill and remove all the plaster.
So I'm hoping initially the lads doing the heating can run the pipe work to roughly where the bathroom components are going to be and then cap them off.

So I'm testing a way to host some pictures. This is the front bedroom after we have secured a bit of loose wall paper, remove all the carpets and the heating installation has started.

They worked fine when you first uploaded them, but now I only get placeholders. What hosting service are you using?
