Same as the one fitted to my YBG engine. Ford Engine codes are quoted in the Workshop Manual not Cosworth Engine codes so I'll check the N5C minimum oil pressures figures at tick over and other(s) and post them up later. Just remind me what engines in your Escort and which Garrett Turbocharger it's running?

Just remind me what engines in your Escort and which Garrett Turbocharger it's running? From Ford Sierra RS Cosworth Workshop manual. Minimum oil pressure * at 900/950 rpm 1.8 bar = 26.10 PSI at 2000 rpm 2.4 bar = 34.80 PSI * with SAE-5W/50 OIL AT 80° C

Just collected the car from the paint shop today, had the whole front end repainted, modified bumper is on so should help reduce under bonnet temps. The new oil pressure switch is in and performing well so thats that issue sorted, I did have a bit of trouble with the cooling fans today after a lot of head scratching as the fault was acting so randomly I found a bad earth connection.]] Taking the car to a show on Sunday so was trying to get it minted up and my blo*dy pressure washer hose snagged on a tyre and I stupidly pulled it a bit, only went and burst while the car was half covered in snow foam. (many angry words followed) Wheels are next on the list, then the leather on the seats to be repaired.

Not updated this for a while as I've not really had to do much to it. I have had quite a bit of brake judder so today I got the enthusiasm to look at sorting that out. So I had ordered some Powerflex bushes for the front end, they are now fitted. Then I replaced the old warped discs with some new Grooved items, lets see how these last, just need to bed them in gently for a few miles. Calipers are really getting ready for a lick of paint, I might fit a set of goodridge hoses in the near future so that would be the ideal time to paint them as I can paint them off the car then. Last job on the list was to set the wheel alignment up after the suspension work.

Cheers Pete, the car itself is absolutely minging to my current standards, once the weather clears it can have a good wash and clean inside.
Next jobs will be to install the additional gauges and maybe even wire up the electric ariel, its only been about 6 years.

Here's me thinking I was the Forum fussy git Depending where you are installing the electric ariel (when you get round to it) can I suggest through experience not installing it in either front wing side as they tend to get clogged up with road gunge etc over time and install it in the boot and run the wires through and a coax extension for the Ariel through the bottom trim. Not trying to tell you how to suck eggs just the problems I've had with electric Ariels over the years on Fords is unreal.

Well its ready for a new brake hose on the front nearside and a couple of wheel bearings on the rear. I've just spoken to my factors this morning to organise the bearings, told them I want SKF bearings. Seeing as the brake hoses all appear to be originals I've decided to replace them all with stainless steel braided hoses.
