This is a 2004 Megan 1.5 D. Air bag light on and code DF210. I know this refers to a seat belt buckle pretentioner. There are 2 pretensioners in each seat I assume one is for the belt and the other for the buckle, my question is does this df210 refer to one side or can it be either left or right, is there any way to check which side is faulty? Cheers

I've never had this one before. Unplug the suspect and see if any new codes pop up. What's the cars history?cat c or d?

buckles are wired in series left and right, if suspecting pre tensioners only way to test is with emulator tool and scanner

Wired in series makes sense now as when I unpluged the wiring block under the seats I got more codes (obviously)but the df210 buckle pretensioner code never altered, so as you said Mac if there wired in series that would explain it as regardless of which side was disconnected it would be giving the same code. Will have another look tomorrow and report back. Cheers

What ever you do don't try with multi meter I've seen an idiot try this and set of all tensioner and airbags Was a very expensive mistake the slight measuring pulse was enough
