My focus has been well behaved recently (and the heated windscreen and blisteringly hot heater are fantastic this time of year), except for one odd thing: it likes to leak/use a bit of oil, but only when its been running flat out for a while (as if the oil needs to thin out to leak).
Now, the only oil trace I could see was on the front of the block, sort of below the oil pressure switch area. I've not been able to tell if its running down to there from the rocker cover, or if its leaking from the switch itself (I'll get a closer look tonight).
Are the oil pressure switches on these a know issue? I know rocker gaskets can be, but I can't see anything leaking from the top or past the manifold.

Its trying to say it doesnt like flat out thankyou In my defence I was having to catch up with another lad who's cruising speed seems more suited to an F15 than his brand new Focus...

2.0 Diesel I think, but it went like a train. Luckily the MK1 still has a bit of go left in her.
