Whilst not wanting to upset FCF, I might be happier, given the parlous state of any French automotive electrics/electronics, not to be flying in this thing, or anything like it. Most of the links suggest dodgy French design houses. The real thing (or its prototype) appears to be flying in the USA, so one presumes that the French air-traffic controllers were on "usual hours" (i.e. on strike) when the film was made. The compromises made to the wing profile to make the things fold are apparent during both take-off and landing, unless the film was made on a very gusty day! Here's the previous prototype of the folding-wing carFortunately, the previous proto was piloted by British Airways, not AirFrance.
