Considering changing the name of my business to Clutch Clinic, obviously I'm kidding but the amount of Clutch jobs I've had in the past 3 weeks is unreal, its like someone's pulling up beside people with fluffed up clutches and telling them to call me lol. Don't get me wrong its a business and its income, but my god you get bored doing the same thing every day.

We have two clutches to do Saturday!
Toyota Landcruiser and a Honda Jazz.
Jobs come and go!
You can have a run on big engine jobs then do none for months. Same with servicing and brakes.

like anything there are clutch jobs you would happily do all day everyday and others you'll run and put the closed sign up as you see it coming

My mk1 focus needs a new clutch (clever seller made sure the test drive started and ended on flat ground). I'll wait until its MOT time and see if it passes that before splashing out my hard-earned on it.

I've got a miserable clutch slave cylinder job on the "slow" ramps at the moment; a Freelander TD4 with the BMW M47 engine. Concentric cylinder, so both boxes out to get to it. By some miracle of bad design, everything that needs to be unbolted at the back is obscured by the engine that's canted back. To make matters worse, the rear support beam (subframe) has to come out, only someone's parked this "joy" in a puddle for a few months, so everything is rusted to a conic. I'm supposed to be on holiday this week as well!

The single biggest reason I invested a load of time and money in a new 2-post. Plenty of opportunities to access suspension on D3, turbos on everything....
