Won this on ebay on Sunday night www.ebay.co.uk/itm/301605902023?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AITBeen looking out for one of these for a while as I had one in my youth.. Click on original listing Photos make it look worse than it is. Hired a van and got it home on Monday.. Tuesday started taking it apart.. Today I removed the exhaust and managed to weld up the hole in the downpipe saving myself £80 for a new one! Then spent a couple of hours cleaning all the chrome with Coca Cola. More pictures to follow later

Superb..!! My dad had the earlier 125 version back in the 70's replacing an ageing BSA Bantam......even tho it was smaller in displacement the 125 was much quicker....his was yellow in colour....great bike I hope you enjoy the rebuild and riding it...

Beep beep How are parts availability? We need some more photos The bulk of parts you can get new still..IE: pads/shoes/bearings/cables/lights/levers I haven't found anywhere that does new silencers yet, but that's half the fun hunting for stuff.. So far it needs a seat cover, a chain, and a spark plug. Pics at the weekend mate, been too busy with stuff

All my new bits arrived yesterday.. So this morning I fitted the sprocket bearing, painted the sprocket, fitted the new spark plug, filled the battery with acid and got it on charge.. I'm hoping tomorrow to have the bike completely back together and ridable... So far I've spent 9 hours on it.. Will post up some pics once it's back together

14 hours now
Got the whole thing back together...
The last two jobs to do are put the seat cover on, and stupidly I snapped a footpeg off trying to straighten it!
But she now drives under her own steam
Today I made new tags for the sprocket, put the rear wheel back in and fitted a new chain
Fitted the battery and exhaust...
