Isn't that the Defender Puma2.4 for the MAP harness overlay job? Don't know I've heard much about the DW12 having the same issue, but their both Ford-sourced engines (OK, the latter is a Pug by design...) and I guess that might make each other share some comon faults. its all speculation val on the forum ! its just one of my mad suggestions, Monkey knows what im'e like Bananas!

The annoying thing is...I've heard of this before. It does sound like something stupid like a shared sensor earth, which can only be fixed by either a) finding the sensor that's pulling the ground all over the place, or b) running a new earth, like you say! These Bosch EDC strategies are appalling, and the DW12 is not immune to silly issues with harnesses not being perfect. I drove it for 20 miles today, hard accerleration, a varied steady pace, everything I could think of to replicate it. Drove perfectly! I hate these kind of faults.. No money in them!

Is it worth using a flight recorder to try and capture data when it faults
Difficult though when it's not playing ball
