So I recently started an apprenticeship and one of the first jobs other than a few services where it will be my name on the job card is a clutch and a full exhaust on a proton savvy that my boss has just bought as a courtesy car (god knows why).
I can get help from any of the other lads but I was wondering if any of you guys had any advice or tips on working on a proton.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The savvy has a renault clio engine and gearbox so very easy to do, the exhaust is simple also but expensive as not renault and hard to find ,i know as done one two weeks ago, took me ages to track one down

With respect a clutch job is going to be a tad too much for you to do this early on in your new career...Isn't it?

I concede it may be a bit ambitious....I remember one the first jobs I was asked to do was sweep the workshop floor....imagine my reaction? I'm not a trained mechanic/technician but have changed many a clutch in my time.... Surely its all part of the learning curve? if he needs advice wont his boss help? Anyhow, if Mr.Hill proceeds with this excercise best of luck

It isn't my first job but it'll be the first where it is my name on the job card and I'm not asking what to do for every step.
