Just had a "sad one" with a local Lady's C15 Romahome camper - the vehicle itself is quite good, but the construction of the B-post has meant (with all the wet weather on Skye this year ) that water has crept into the multi-layers from the outside, underneath the rubberised sill paint, and blown the whole lot out. And that's despite me waxing the thing from the inside-out three years ago. The rust hasn't reached the wax yet, it's still working its way in! Could be a tricky job, and not really my scene with all the electrical and electronics kit around the workshop. I've got enough rusty old Rovers to "restore" without having to keep the French stuff on the roads as well.

I've found the fuel tank vent pipe is leaking slightly where it goes back into the tank lower down. As you can see the pipe is wider where it comes out of the tank and narrows after the 90 degree bend down back to the lower part of the tank. Trying to source one atm with no joy as yet.

Still trying to source a fuel pipe for this and now the four-way electric windows switch is playing silly beggars. All windows work except the passenger front not having it. I cleaned this switch up last year with electric cleaner as it was playing up then and got it working as the drivers door window was lazy and greased the aluminium runners. Got to e-mail Gary at RS specialists a photo of the fuel tank pipe to see if he has got a spare.

b*gger, is it a standard Sapphire part or RS specific? Not RS specific as such IIRC but they also fit the Sierra XR4X4 as well and they do come up from time to time on E-bay and the like. I bit on one last year and got out bid. Part number 83BG 14A132 AA Made in West Germany. I've taken it off to clean again and we'll see but may be time for another replacement. The child rear safety button is playing up also.

Cant you just shorten the pipe? Will it reroute behind the filler pipe for a shorter run?
Is that rust behind the filler neck? No waxoyl there?

Sourced one via Gary at RS Classics. The pipe but will be sold on the filler pipe as a bit of a b*gger to get off so leave them on them now the complete neck. Just hope it's not a b*gger to fit and get the old set up off.
